About me
I am an entrepreneur and AI enthuthiast.
I have co-founded the company Paperflow that captures data from invoices with different machine learning approaches. Paperflow is today serving customers in more than 25 different countries of the headquarters in Copenhagen.
I went into AI by accident. When we founded Paperflow we honestly didn’t know that the problem we were trying to solve was screaming for an artificial intelligence solution. That we would end up doing research into new AI fields such as probabilistic programming was not planned but definitely the best thing that could happen.
Today I help companies utilize the power of AI in my new company Todai. I do that mainly by educating and working with how to strategically use AI to improve business results. Surprisingly the technology is the easiest problem when working with AI. The human and strategic aspects are usually much where the problems are rooted. It’s in that tension between technology and people that I like to be.
I used to be a programmer but honestly not the best one. The patience it takes to be a good programmer is out of my league. Nevertheless the experience does give me a lot of insight to what happens in the engine room when technology is built.
