Denmark's cool AI companies
I am currently writing a book about Applied AI. It's honestly a little harder than I expected, but on top of the hard work there are some really good experiences. One of the great experiences is meeting a lot of cool AI companies that I interview for my book.
I think it’s only fair to share my excitement with everyone who's interested. So here's an incomplete list of the danish Applied AI companies that deserve attention. If you know a company that is missing from the list, please give me a heads up.
Acumex: Trading and negotiating on AI steroids, which keeps track of the many negotiations required in the procurement department.
City.ai: Christina Kreutzmann from CITY.AI is not an AI company as such, but works completely voluntarily for the Copenhagen ecosystem around artificial intelligence and it must of course be mentioned. Keep up with events from CITY.AI.

Cludo: Site and content searches based on artificial intelligence. The AI tries to understand the user's real intent with a search, which ensures that it is the most relevant results that are displayed.
Corti: Artificial intelligence that saves lives. Artificial intelligence that listens to 112 calls around the world and guides you to the right and fastes response.
Ento Labs: Optimization of electricity consumption via AI. One would think that we had be taught to turn off the lights, but Ento Labs data reveals something else and helps with the green transition.
Enversion: A really cool AI company that has been working with health data for many years but has been turning into an AI company as the technology progressed.
Forecast: Forecast does resource planning for businesses. The AI provides suggestions for who is going on a project based on competencies and the project's content.
Grazper: A number of former developers of the Danish game success Hitman, have founded an AI company that makes embedded AI solutions for real-time analysis for e.g. Smart city problems.
Hypefactors:monitoring Media and reputation management with AI. Pay special attention to their very skilled CTO, Viet Nguyen, who can really deliver on the AI front.
Paperflow: The AI company I co-founded. Paperflows AI is an invoice data capture solution that scans invoices and receipts, so you do not have to enter data from them manually. It is quite cool technology, which among other things offers the rarer branch of AI called probabilistic programming.
Valuer.ai: Here, established larger companies are matched with small innovative startups, so that the established companies can access the innovation that is not natural to them. The other way around, startups can get the important established partnerships that are critical in the early stages.
Veo: AI that can record football matches itself. The AI itself follows the ball around the court, so matches can be recorded without the use of camera people.
